Project description: Though there are standards and certifications for educating project managers, many projects still experience severe problems. One reason is that these standards show several shortcomings as shown by critical research during the last years. However, only little research is dedicated to the question of how the new research results can be used to improve project management education.
The project is focused in particular at the project management education at universities. It should adress how the education at universities can be improved and how it can contribute to overcome the perceived dichtonomy between the project management standards and results of critical project management research.
